The College of Natural Therapeutics was established in 1996 in response to the need to train Xhosa-speaking students as therapists. This led to the first black qualified reflexologists and massage therapists in South Africa. There was also a need for a college that offered correspondence courses combined with practical workshops so that students could learn during their spare time and as they remained in employment. Sixty percent of all graduates left their employment and opened their own businesses, while 15% started careers on international cruise liners. Twenty percent of the students went on to work at health and beauty spa’s while the remaining 10% of students either failed to graduate or continued in their previous employment.
Our vision is to assist and educate students to be qualified as Natural Health Therapists and to support our students in an ongoing manner with regards to their future choices and career opportunities. We strive to inspire and fulfil dreams and to ensure that our students find true passion for what they do.

Body Programs:
Holistic Body Therapy Diploma
Correspondence and 6 days contact classes (2 years) A revolutionary full body course which includes sports injuries, lymph drainage , aromatherapy, Deep tissue and Swedish massage
Foot Reflex Treatment Diploma
Correspondence and 6 days contact classes (2 years) A dynamic course which Includes foot Alignment , diagnosis through the feet, reading the feet (similar to palmistry), meridian therapy and Chinese diagnosis
Shiatsu/Acupressure Diploma
Correspondence and 6 days contact classes (2 years) A combination of shiatsu, acupressure and acupuncture points to release stress and promote well-being.

"A "Course in INSIGHTS"
An experiential course based on the bestselling novel “The Celestine Prophecy” (With permission from the author). It is a very intensive and interesting course, but also lots of fun. The course runs for 13 weeks, with a maximum of 8 attendees per course. We are keeping the numbers low so that all will get 100% benefit.
